Accessibility Statement

Last assessed: 2026-03-07

Euregas is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, in accordance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

1. Conformance Status

Euregas aims to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA as required by the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) and the harmonised standard EN 301 549 v3.2.1.

Current conformance status: Partially conformant. We are actively working to achieve full conformance.

2. Accessibility Measures

Euregas takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Accessibility is embedded in our design system and component library
  • All form inputs include proper labels, error messages, and ARIA attributes
  • Skip-to-main-content navigation link on all pages
  • Keyboard navigation support throughout the application
  • ARIA live regions for dynamic content updates
  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
  • Focus-visible outlines on all interactive elements
  • Support for browser zoom up to 200% without loss of functionality
  • Responsive design that works across all screen sizes
  • Animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion user preference
  • Color contrast ratios meet WCAG AA requirements (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Dark mode support with accessible color tokens

3. Technologies

The accessibility of Euregas relies on the following technologies:

  • HTML5
  • CSS (with OKLCH color space for perceptually uniform contrast)
  • JavaScript (React / Next.js)
  • WAI-ARIA 1.2
  • SVG

4. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:

Complex data tables — Some compliance dashboards contain large data tables. We provide column sorting and filtering to help users navigate the data, but screen reader navigation of very wide tables may be challenging.

AI-generated content — Content produced by AI consultation features may not always follow optimal heading structure or reading order. We label all AI-generated content clearly.

PDF exports — Exported compliance reports are generated as PDF. We are working to improve the tagged PDF structure for screen reader compatibility.

Third-party integrations — Some embedded content from third-party services (Stripe checkout) may have accessibility limitations outside our control.

We are actively working to resolve these limitations and improve accessibility across the platform.

7. Assessment Method

This accessibility statement was created based on a self-assessment conducted on 2026-03-07. The assessment covered:

  • Automated testing with axe-core and Lighthouse
  • Manual keyboard navigation testing
  • Screen reader testing (VoiceOver, NVDA)
  • Color contrast analysis of all design tokens
  • Review against WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria
  • Review against EN 301 549 v3.2.1 requirements

This statement is reviewed and updated at least annually, or whenever significant changes are made to the platform.
